This is a land of extremes. At 3.4 million acres, Death Valley National Park is America's largest national park south of Denali National Park in Alaska. It is the lowest place in the U.S., at 282 feet below sea level. It also has recorded the hottest temperature in North America, at 134 degrees F. It is a fascinating place!
