Italy has numerous islands, including Sicily, which is the largest island in the Mediterranean.  The Isle of Capri sits just west of the Amalfi coast, and features rugged landscapes and upscale beach resorts.  Lipari is off the northern coast of Sicily, and its dramatic terrain includes several small volcanoes, popular beaches and several castles.  Sicily reflects its rich heritage, with Greek temples, Baroque palazzos and winding streets filled with history and interest.
